As a rather quiet child I could spent hours and hours in my room just drawing and listening to audiobooks. Until today not much has actually changed and therefore I am thankful that I was able to turn a passion into my profession.
I never studied at an art-school and invested a lot of time and passion teaching myself different styles and techniques. Starting with all kinds of pencils, followed by acrylic and watercolors shown in portraits, landscapes and other motives.
Classical painters and illustrators have always been my biggest inspiration and I try to integrate their style into my own art. It’s a good feeling to be able to say that after having intensively studied many art styles and techniques, the big wide world of painting still lies ahead of me.
